Appointment Procedure:

Zest for Life is now open as of the 22nd of July.

We have new procedures in place to keep the staff and clients safe for when you come to your appointment.

  • On your visit to the salon we ask that you follow these guidelines.
  • If you have symptoms of COVID 19 please rearrange your appointment.
  • Please arrive on time at your appointment time as the door will be locked while we are in treatment.
  • Please come alone to your appointment.
  • Please use the hand sanitiser as you enter and leave the salon.
  • Please limit personal belongings where possible.
  • Face masks must be worn in the salon, we can provide one for you at the cost of £1.

Zest for Life is back open after major refurbishment and we look forward to welcoming clients to our beautiful, deluxe surroundings. We have a wide range of treatments to offer our clients. From Massage & Relaxation, Nails, Brows, Lashes & Tanning to speciality Facial Skincare Treatments like CACI Synergy Non Surgical Facelifting & Exillis Protege Elite Radio Frequency Skin Tightening.

We service Helensburgh, Cardross, Rhu, Shandon, Faslane, Garelochhead and the Clyde Coast Peninsula areas including; Clynder, Roseneath, Cove & Kilcreggan.

Clients also travel to us for our speciality, Facial Skincare Treatments and Hair Removal Treatments, including Candela GentleLASE Medical Laser Hair Removal, from Loch Lomond and surrounding areas; Luss, Balloch & Arrochar. We also cover the Vale Of Leven, Alexandria and Dumbarton, Bowling, Old Kilpatrick, Dalmuir, Clydebank, Duntocher, and Glasgow.

At Zest For Life we offer a wide selection of Decleor and Dermalogica skincare treatments to smooth, brighten and hydrate the skin as well as the extremely popular Dermaplane PRO treatment which removes peachy fuzz as well as dead skin.

Hair Removal

For silky smooth, hair free skin that lasts for up to 6 weeks we offer Warm Waxing & Peron Rigot Intimate Bikini Line Waxing. Candela GentleLASE Medical Laser Hair Removal, as used by the NHS. Also available at Zen Skin Spa.

Body Sculpting

Lose inches easily with our 3D LipoMED Cryolipolysis. A very popular treatment for stubborn pockets of fat, you can lose up to 40% of fat per area in one treatment. We also offer Ultrasound Cavitation treatments for instant inch loss.

Tend to those talons and toes with a luxury manicure and pedicure. We use Shellac & The GelBottle Gel Polish to ensure long lasting wear. For those who love long, glamorous nails we now offer Acrylic Nail Extensions. Also available at Zen Skin Spa.

Our therapists have many years experience in grooming unruly brows, so you are in safe hands. We offer the latest high definition systems; Henna Brows and Billion Dollar Brows, as well as a simple eyebrow shape and tint. Also available at Zen Skin Spa.

For longer lashes we offer Lash FX Semi Permanent Lashes. We also have Express Lashes which are great before events or holidays. For lifted lashes we offer LVL Lash Lift, the preferred brand of celebrities and makeup artists, for longer lasting lifts.

Tanning

We have a NEW dedicated spray tanning room, where we offer Fake Bake and St Tropez premium spray tans to suit all skin tones. We also have an express spray tan for those in a rush. If you prefer a classic cream tan this is also available.

Cancellation Policy

When an appointment is booked we require a minimum of 24 hours notice to change or reschedule your appointment. If less than 24 hours notice is given then full payment of the missed appointment is required. Please note you will not be able to book back into the salon until the cancellation fee is paid.

Treatments booked cannot be altered to less than what was originally booked within 24 hours, if you request to shorten your appointment with less than 24 hours then full payment for treatments originally booked will be required. Please note this is due to being unable to then fill the space with less than 24 hours notice.

Terms And Conditions

ARRIVING AT THE SALON

If you are new to the salon please arrive on time for your appointment time as we do not have a receptionist. You will be required to fill out the compulsory New Client Consultation Form. Arriving late will rob you of precious appointment minutes as each session will be finished exactly on time as a courtesy to the next client.

We fully understand that sometimes being late is outside of your control. If you are running late please contact the salon as soon as possible by phone to allow your therapist to advise the best course of action.

We will always do our best to accommodate late arrivals (within 10 minutes after your appointment) by performing the most complete treatment possible in the time remaining. (Does not include brow appointments or treatments less than 15 minutes long)

Unfortunately, arriving 10 minutes after the scheduled time of your appointment will result in the cancellation of your appointment, our cancellation policy will apply.

If you have a gift voucher and do not show up for your treatment or cancel less than 24 hours before your treatment time, you will forfeit your voucher.

We’ll be happy to answer any questions you may have about our location, parking, and travel options.

VOUCHERS

Vouchers can be purchased for any amount and are valid from 6 months from purchase date. Once past this date vouchers will no longer be accepted in the salon.

Vouchers are non-transferable, exchangeable or refundable

We accept no responsibility for lost, damaged or stolen vouchers

When booking a treatment with a voucher, please state the voucher number and bring the voucher with you to produce prior to the treatment. Failure to do so will result in full payment of the treatment.

If a booking is made with the voucher and the appointment is missed the voucher will become invalid.

Vouchers cannot be used in conjunction with any ongoing offers in the salon!

REFUND POLICY – PRODUCTS

All our products are sold as brand new and for personal use only. We cannot give refunds on any products sold due to health and safety reasons. If there is a fault with the product we will contact the manufacturer for a resolution.

REFUND POLICY – SERVICES

All our treatments are carried out by qualified therapists. If you have had a treatment that you are unsatisfied with please contact the salon immediately. We cannot give refunds on any treatments but we will look into your concerns immediately. Please raise your concern with the therapist during the treatment. They will listen carefully to your concerns and do what they can to correct any problems. All concerns must be raised either immediately at the treatment time or within 24 hrs after the treatment.

Treatment Suitability

Our therapists are not obliged to treat you if they deem treatment is not appropriate for any reason.

Some treatments require a patch test for those clients who have never had the treatment with ourselves.

We reserve the right to refuse to treat if a patch test has not be performed by ourselves.

Prior to any treatment, we will assess your suitability for treatment and whether treatment is likely to be successful. If deemed unsuitable we will inform you as to the reasons why, if you have already paid in full, we will refund the paid amount.

In some cases, we can recommend an alternative method of treatment. If the alternative method treatment is less in price than the original purchase, we will refund the difference.

Whilst we endeavour to ensure that the information on this website is correct, we do not warrant its completeness or accuracy; nor do we commit to ensuring that the website remains available or that the material on the website is kept up to date.

From time to time we add new/remove treatments to/from our menu. Please check with the salon for treatment updates and prices. Treatment times may vary to booking times. Prices and treatments may change.

APPOINTMENT TIMES

All timings shown throughout the site and on other marketing material refer to appointment times and not treatment times. Treatment time includes arrival, consultation, dressing time, treatment time and post consultation.

NOISE AND MOBILE PHONES

Please respect all salon guests’ right to privacy and serenity. Please maintain conversations at a considerate volume in all treatment areas. Mobile phones are not permitted in the treatment rooms and must be kept silent or turned off when you are the salon.

CLIENT CONSULTATION FORMS

All new clients will be requested to complete a Client Consultation form before our therapists can perform any treatments on you. Failure to do so will result in us refusing to perform your treatments. Please advise us of any health conditions, allergies, or injuries which could affect your service when completing this form. It is your responsibility to let us know of any changes in your circumstances before your treatment goes ahead. We also reserve the right to ask you to complete the Client Consultation form every 6 months so that we can update our records.

Personal details taken from clients during consultation procedures are protected under the Data Protection Act.

PATCH TESTING

Patch testing is required for certain treatments and must be completed before your appointment. We reserve the right to refuse any treatment that requires a patch test if it has not been completed 48hrs prior to your appointment. Failure to complete a patch test before your appointment will result in cancellation and our cancellation policy will apply.

AGE RESTRICTIONS/CONDUCT

You must be 18 years or over to receive treatments or parental consent will be required. We reserve the right to refuse performing treatments on any guest who is under the age of consent.

We will refuse treatment to customers who behave in an ill-mannered, aggressive, or hostile way towards any member of staff.

CLEANLINESS

In keeping with our commitment to cleanliness, safety and hygiene, our equipment is sterilized and sanitized after every service and treatment.

LOSS OR DAMAGE OF PERSONAL ITEMS

We regret that we cannot be responsible for any loss or damage of personal items at the salon. Please keep your personal belongings with you at all times.

THERAPIST/STAFF ILLNESS

Unfortunately we might have to cancel your appointments due to therapist/staff illness and emergency. Please rest assured that in such events our first option will be to move your appointment to another therapist on the same day that can accommodate your treatment. In the case that we cannot reschedule your appointment in the same day we will have to cancel your appointment and rebook you for another day. We will notify you as soon as we can if we need to cancel your appointment.

Treatment Expectations

The anatomy if each client is different, therefore results are not guaranteed as many factors can influence treatment.

Children

Please understand that we cannot accommodate children under 12 unless supervised by an adult during your treatment.

Clients who bring children with them are responsible for keeping the children quiet and under control during their visit and if any child causes disruption we may cancel your appointment and ask you to leave.
